1 · Get your property on screen

• Search your address — imagery loads with the scale set automatically.
• Or drop / paste a satellite screenshot, then Calibrate (C): click two ends of something you know the length of.
• Expand map (header) fetches more surrounding imagery any time — your work stays put.
• Align ⟲: drag a line along your house front and the view levels itself.

2 · Capture what's there

• Fetch building footprints (header) pulls mapped buildings instantly.
• ✨ AI detect (A): click a building, driveway, or lawn — its outline is traced for you.
• 🪄 Magic wand (W) grabs same-colored regions; ⬠ Trace (T) is the manual fallback. ◍ places existing trees.
• Right-click anything to select it — then drag corners (circles), add corners (squares), re-type it, or press Delete.

3 · Design

• ◠ Beds (B) draw freehand and smooth themselves; ▦ Hardscape (S) fills with true-scale material hatches.
• ❀ Plants (P): pick from 400+ species with photos — filter by your region, USDA zone, native, edible. Symbols draw at mature spread, so spacing is honest. Missing something? + Custom.
• The Schedule tab keeps a live plant list with quantities.

4 · Getting around

• Ctrl+drag (or middle-drag, or hold Space) pans in any tool; scroll zooms at your cursor.
• ⌘Z undo · Esc cancels a drawing · Enter finishes a polygon.
• Export PDF prints at a true engineer's scale (1″ = 10′) with a title block and plant schedule.
